New Grill
1. Do the boltovers accomplish this or should I go full replacement?
2. How hard is a replacement to install (i.e. do I need to remove headlights, etc)?
3. I have fogs on the lower valance. There are like 3 plastic braces (?) where a lower grill would go. Is this possible and how does it install (i.e. over the braces, cut the braces off, etc)?
Thanks to whomever takes the time to respond
Additionally, if anyone has pics or has a billet they like/know where to get, feel free to post. Thanks!
Boltovers that I have seen usually don't do a great job of covering the old grill......if you want your old one completely gone get a replacement style.
Some of the replacement do require "some" cutting and depending on where you buy it should have instructions for it. You probly will pay a little more for one that is a direct bolt-in with no cutting involved.
Where to buy is almost unlimited......Many of our sponsors above have them......just go to their sites and you'll find them. Ebay has them everyday.......I did end up getting mine off eBay but not till I looked a LOT. Summit, Jegs, LMC Truck all have them. Take your time looking and you'll find the one that trips your trigger.
I opted for a stock grill replacement......but waffled a long time about a Billet......and down the road may still change it out.
Good Luck
PS....heres a post to read about them
