My gas guage on my 95' Bronco 4X4 no longer works. When the problem first started in would work sometime and then it wouldn't. It recently stopped working. Could it be a sensor part of the float in the fuel tank?
Also, my cruise control stopped working. I have checked all the fuzes. Any troubleshooting tips would be appreciated.
Both of the problems you describe have happened to me on my '91.
The gas guage, well, I just don't know, but it looks as though I'm going to replacing in-tank fuel pumps soon, so I bet I find out (sooner than I'd like, no doubt).
Additionally, you may want to scroll back through the '80-'96 archives. These gas guages seem to be a recurring problem.
The cruise control: pull the black plastic cover which hides the throttle cable-to-throttle body butterfly control lever. The cruise control cable has a plastic clip that snaps onto the throttle cable end. Snap the cruise back on, and secure it with a couple of zip ties.

i own a 95 bronco Iam also a mechanic at a ford dealer. This is a common problem with most fords which is most allways the sending unit to check the gas guage. There is a yellow wire with a whtie tracer coming off the fuel pump to the guage The easiest way to ck the guage and wiring is to disconnect the y/w wire and grond the wire on the dash side of the wire. If you can slide your hand up on top of the tank and disconnect the pump and ground out the y/w wire turn the key on and watch the gauge if the guage goes up the sender in the tank is bad, if youre going to replace the sender you may as well put a pump in it. As for the cruise if the fuses are good it could be the switches , clockspring or servo it would be hard to explain all the tests you go throught. I would say 80% of the time it would be the servo. good luck
