Hey Ksmith i'm not to sure but can check for you. tomoto will be the best one to answer this, anyways are you still in knoxville? Sorry i couldn't make it to dinner and tell everybody else sorry for not getting to meet them had to rush off right after I talked to you. One of the differences of the f-1 and f-6 frame is the steering column's are mounted different or so I'm told, but I'll check that also. JOE
the cab go forward so it will not line up .But it will work thats what I use on the green coe 1950 frame the frame are all the same at F-1 to F-6 but for the thickness of metal. you will have to use the sub frame from the coe ..
Tomoto you used the f1 or f6 frame? Should I use the F6 Frame and put a nine inch rear end? I still want to keep the 226 engine and go with a T5 tranny, is there a adaptor plate for this?
I still have a month of work on the 51 F6 but want to start to stock pile parts I will need.
F-1 on the green with Mll front with I would not do again and Dodge dakota on the 4 door with is what I would do again. But with the Mll front end you can lower the motor down so low that you can use the engine cover...the Dakota the rack and pinion is in the right place and angle, which makes nice, but the engine has to sit higher ,unless you put the motor in back ..front wheel drive would be nice .All in the bed and it would be so easy to work on
