I ordered mine from ITP -- I got the DiPricol Optix series, and requested the 4-gauge A-pillar mount instead of the three for room for an extra gauge. I'm not sure which one I'll be putting in there yet, but it'll probably be oil pressure, water temp, or battery voltage. I *will* be adding those three at some point, just haven't decided which one I'll be putting up there yet. It will probably be whatever of those three DiPricol comes out with next so they all match.
As far as how to install them, they should come with good installation instructions. One tip I've gleemed from this site is to install the Pyro sensor in the up-pipe instead of the manifold -- manifolds are known to crack occasionally when drilled. And if you happen to crack the up-pipe, it's *a lot* easier to replace than a manifold.
Isspro gauges, better match for factory and better acruetcy then Autometer. Pre turbo, drill and tap the manifold (I have dont 20+ this way and never seen a "cracked" manifold). Boost, you can drill and tap the Y pipe or build a T for the Map line. I have 12 Isspro gauges and wouldnt trade them for any other brand...
I went with a 4 gauge Apillar pod, I put a volt meter in the 4th spot. This makes it really easy to read what my extra batteries in the back are doing.
Benny- I am acutally an ISSPRO distributor also, and could certainly set you up there. The Isspro's are very nice, and I really like there EV series with the blue pointer. Another nice thing about the isspro Themocouple is you can get them with a plug, instead of the nut and bolt type that most others have. Of course I seem to R&R my motor more than most others too
A couple of notes. I have the Optix series and love them. Those LEDs are the stuff. I tapped my up-pipe, go shallow and you'll be fine. You guys have been following my stupid drag strip runs and dyno and other shenannigans (sp?) and so far so good.
For that 4th pod, I talked to Dennis the other day when I ordered my AE and tried to order a fuel pressure gauge. DiPricol is reported to have a new one out that will be electronic. That's right, no isolator. I am waiting on that unit now.
Izzy, you will be very happy with the DiPricols. I am. Besides, Dennis is "Good People", not that Jason isn't.
i got the dipricols years ago, before they had the optix series... grrrrr...!!!! but the ones i got matched the factory dash very well, day and night... the optix are just niceer... brighter, easier to read... i considered upgrading to them, but the ones i have worked so well and they still look really good, so i have to go by the old adage... if it isn't broken, don't fix it..!!!
Thnaks for the feedback, have been super busy, but i ordered the 3gauge pod with the white dial, blue pointer ISSPROS, from Diesel manor on sunday mornin Hopefully they will be here by friday. I went with the white/blue combo to match my stereo, if figured aftermarket is aftermarket might as well match
I like the up pipe install for EGT, what is the T in the Map line for boost all about, anyone have a pic??? Thx gents

Well, that is a common install method but I did the AIH delete and plumbed my boost seperately right there. Right next to the MAP sensor source. More accurate, who knows, but no less accurate as that is what is going into the cylinders.

Benny, those are the same guages I have now, and I love them. I tried to take a pic earlier after Jason posted but camera batts were dead. I went with these guages for the same reason , to match the stereo. the LED light in the ISSPRO's, is the bomb. its not too bright, and it doesnt blind you at night. I switched from some Autometers with the little bulbs(way too brite at night even with sleeves) to the isspros and could not be happier. Diesel Manor has great insrtuctions(you can also look at them online), don't be scared about drilling the up pipe, just dont run the tap all the way to the bottom as the 1/8" NPT tap is tapered, and you dont want to make the hole too big. Go a few threads and test fit, go afew more and recheck fit. the map TEE is the usual tap in for the boost, although as Tenn and others have done you can do the AIH delete and get a plug for the hole that has the correct compression fitting for the boost line.
