Where can I find a windshield wiper arm pivot assembly for the left side on my 1988 F-150? The little tower that the wiper arm shaft comes through is cracked and is binding the wipers so bad that the thermal overload in the wiper switch keeps tripping the wipers off. If you just have a part number, that will help. Thanks in advance!

I took the part off of the truck and the part number on it is E7TB-17533-AA. Direct Ford Parts does not have it. Maybe the part number has changed?

 

The number on the part is a Ford engineering number...it won't match the actual part number.

When I checked DFP's online search, the number for the wiper arm/pivot came up as still good. If the number was either obsolete or replaced, there would be no price.

EDIT: OK, Chief, (I assume that's what an E-8 is...it's been awhile ) I just did the search again...the actual PART number came right up at DirectFordParts' online number search.

Click on DFP's link, go to step 2, pick FORD from the three options.

Type in: e8tz17567a

Leave out the hyphens, and capital letters are not required.

Or...call DFP direct (Gaudin Ford in Las Vegas), ask for Kevin...
