Guys I bought a 94 F-150 302 E4OD Mass air ECU and a 94 F-150 Mass air engine wiring harness, but on my old 92 F-150 ECU plug that goes into the computer it’s still got the old batch fire setup for the injectors… Do I need to run individual wires off of the ECU plug for the other injectors, there should only be a total of 6 since I can use the existing white and tan wires for injectors one and two which leaves the other 6 to wire up? What is the best way to wire up the injectors for this SD to mass air conversion? Another thing on the 94-95 F-150 302 E4OD mass air wiring diagram they are using pins #50 and #9 for the mass air meter and they are also showing pin #9 for the VIP data connector, how can one wire do both and pin #9 is showing different colors in my Haynes manual? Other than the injectors all I need to do is move and add some pins for the mass air meter, just trying to make this hassle free as possible….
For your EFI harness you will need to re-pin some wires on your connector plug and add some wires. A real good resource is fordfuelinjection.com. Look at "truck computers" on this page for info on what wire goes where. http://www.fordfuelinjection.com/?p=6 Also read the sections on assembling an efi harness. Here is the "big and ugly work truck" article on Mustang MAF conversion in a truck but it still has valuable info. http://www.fordmuscle.com/archives/2...sion/index.php Take pictures and let us know how you make out.
I install whole harness (ecu to engine bay )and change in cab conections to fit your incab plug. (Just easier for me.) You have the engine harness ,so like you said you will have to add wires for injectors. You will find you will have to move wire at plug on fenderwell to engine harnes as they all are not same.
You will find there is no wire for sensor on front right lower intake . It is moved to air box and it alone with MAf sensor is way I just swap out bay harnesses and make changes to in cab conections. Good luck.
Sounds like you have good wiring diagram . Thank your time and good luck
