Seeding progress

We are about 2/3 done now. All the canola is in and a few quarters of oats. We knew the operation was going to be shut down for the weekend (see Grandmas bday post). Off to Calgary today. Be back Monday with some of that cheap beer!

Good to hear that your seeding is going well! I hope you have the f-350 running perfect, to be able to haul back the pallets of beer!

There must be alot of pot holes to go around this spring.
Have a good trip and be careful, the highways will be a very busy place.

I sit on R.M. council and with all the flooding and washouts it was a bit trying but I must say that almost all ratepayers were most patient with our council and the project proirizing that we did. The process will continue all summer.

Whoops, after reading more closely you were referring to field potholes (guess I have been overloaded with road stuff)! Our #27 Hwy is under a 8000 kg weight restriction.

Around here the grids took a bad beating too.
Some places are tuff to drive on, the clay got pushed up fairly high when the heavy trucks broke thru.

I was up at Archerwill this weekend and the roads aroung their are pretty bad ( paved and grid). Our friends were telling us that the RM is out of money so not much work being done to the roads right now. It is to bad because now is the time to get them back in shape.
