Door locks
Well I fixed the door locks on my dads F150 today and much to my surprise (and relief) they are the exact same actuator as what is on my SD. It really is nice to fix something without spending big $$$$ on it. All it took was a little time and to small pieces of tin foil. Gotta love it! 
glad to hear of a cheap fix!! you might have to share the details just in case we have similar problems sometime...

actually, i found it in the SD forum. There are some very detailed instructions on how to fix. It is actually very simple to do and have now saved over $400 in parts. each actuator is about 100 bucks and with labour would be well above this. basically if you have a newer truck this will work on it.
