i've been doing alot of research lately on this forum and others + magazines.... i just got an 03' f-250 superduty 6.0 powerstroke... extened cab short bed... i am looking to get a "leveling kit" but can't find one any where... i don't really want to buy new leaf springs for the front... do you guys no of any leveling kits avaible? i don't want to lift it cause i drive ALOT of highway going to races.... i was thinking a leveling kit or maybe a 2" lift... i want to get like 33x12.5 tire and was told i would need to lift the front, but a guy i know has 315x75x16 on his stock height f250...
so basicially im looking for somthing to lift the front end of my truck.... i don't want to raise the rear more than 2" cause i have a 18' enclosed trailer...
Is it 4x4 or just 2 wheel drive? I know for a fact that 33x12.5 tires will fit without a problem on a stock 4x4, I'm nto sure about 2 wheel drive trucks though. Also, being a 2 wheel drive truck makes a big difference when it comes to lifts/leveling kits.
Dohahoe racing "mini spring pack" You will be pleased.
I don't know how guys are fitting 33 x 12.50's on stock trucks, but my 02 rubbed like crazy when I tried it. It worked alright until I got it off-road, then it killed the fenders at full lock, and a little flex.
Make sure when you see "leveling kit" advertised you read the fine print. Tuff Country makes a 2.5 inch leveling kit but it states it will only level out a F350. This is due to the rear blocks on the stock F350 being 2 inches taller than the stock blocks on a F250. What you would get is 2 inches higher in the front even though it says "leveling kit". This is the kit I used with my F250 but I had add-a-leafs for the rear. All said and done, mine is now level but almost 4 inches higher than it was stock.
well from the research i did i should raise the front end 2" to make it level with the rear... and for the f350 it should be 2.5"-3"... my one buddy said 2.5" in the front and 1" (block or add a leaf) in the rear... but i haven't come across any 1" rear kits...
For some stupid reason I put a 6" lift in now I have buy 38's or 40's so it does not look so stupid...
WHAT WAS I THINKING????
hey man i'll take your 6inch lift...haha
I would go with a donahoe leveling kit. they make 2 different ones that will fit your truck and look great. I have an '01 4x4 with 33s on it at stock height and they work fine tho.

whats the best way to do this?
thanks
You can get the rear add-a-leaf seperate. Tuff country makes a 1 in a 2 in and a 3 in rear add-a-leaf. Take your pick. I used their 2.5 in leveling kit for the front and their 2 inch add-a-leaf in the rear. Hope this helps.
You could try going to a spring shop and have a set made. I wanted to bring my F-350 up to the 6000# rating that comes with the snow plow package, it only had 4800# springs. I had a set of front leafs made that would give me 1.5" of lift(once they settled out) and add 1200# capacity. It turns out that they were about 3" lift to start and now have settled in at around 2" lift...
