stealership on cps issue
so i figure im goign to buy a spare cps the upgraded version.
so i ask the parts guy for a cps and he comes back with the old version and tells me 200 bucks i say no i want the new version, he says his manageer wont release the new ones till all the old ones are gone for 200 bucks vers. 30 i start a bit of a fight and his manger tells me hes not going to send the old ones back just because i want to save money. i ask to talk to the head manager then he says fine take the new one and i say thank you and he walks off pissing and moaning. watch out guys when you try to buy the new cps. thought id share it with you.

ya but i wanted one before i leave on sunday for lead hill and couldnt wait
i just cant believe the dealers think how stupid some people are these days and then when they find out they cant pull one off on someone they think of something else to blow up your @ss.

I had exact opposite reaction from my local dealer, He was excited to hear about the new part and asked if I had any info about anything else. I told him there was a heavy duty towing version of the 4R100 avail from FOMOCO, and he went ape *****, Told me to track down any new part #'s I could and he would give me a good discount for the parts if needed. I told him he would have to sharpen his pencil cause the online guys were eating his lunch, and he did me right on my CPS. could not have got it cheaper online. BTW dealer cost for the new CPS is ~ $12.

what is the old more expensive one's part #
and what is the new cheaper # ? or are they the same and just taking place of the older more expensive version?
Just purchased a 99 psd and would like to carry one in the glove box for a spare and thought i would stop in at the local shop to ruffle some feathers
