Question Suspension mods

What would be a good way to beef up my suspension on my 98 F150 4.6L 4x4. I don't tow very often but would like better handling capability when I do. I have read on some of the other threads that gearing to 4.10 helps with towing but what about the suspension? I have done some looking around and noticed that there isn't much out there for this particular truck for making mods to the suspension. Are there any good suspension kits out there?

you can put helper springs onto the truck so it doesnt sag so much when your towing or hauling a heavy load, you can also put airbags in the rear which pretty much do the same thing, i think you have to remove the shocks in back to put airbags on, but im not sure on that. helper springs arent to expensive, but bags are a bit on the pricey side

They won't help you level the load, but some good shocks will sure help keep it under control. I and many others prefer Bilstein. A little pricey, but worth every penny.

Thanks for the info! I will have to look into that. I did some looking around online last night and found a kit from Hellwig Products that looks pretty good. I read some threads on other forums about them and heard some good things about them. They are relatively inexpensive also, around $190 for a pair.
