She's nice. She bought a new Escape XLT. It's being built at the factory. it's gonna be ready by end of June we can go camping for the long weekend. She likes the dog too.
Two weekends ago she came over and made me put the muffler on the car I'd been putting off to do. She brought me beer while I worked and passed me tools and when i needed an extra set of hands she crawled underneath and hit the muffler on for me with a hammer.
So last weekend we went around for a drive, visited her parents cabin in Upstate NY, had a BBQ. I met a guy there knows a lot about Ford Trucks. This weekend she wants to wash the windows. She says my house is really dirty. I kind of like this women's touch.
I was putting an old muffler on I got from another car. I connected it with some of that flexible exhaust pipe and C clamps. It didn't want to slide on so I put some grease and a piece of wood to protect it and she hit it while I held the rest of it steady. I don't think I did too much damage car's nice and quiet now. We can drive around and talk it's nice.
Sounds good but that one comment that your house was really dirty raises a flag for me. She might be one of those compulsive "cleaner uppers" who just can't leave a mess alone. This is usually a good thing unless you know your mess is organized. When she puts away or worse, throws away, your mess, you might not like it.
My wife does this to me and sometimes it makes me nuts. She throws away some treasures once in awhile just because it looked old or messy. Once threw away a GOOD stereo just because it was sitting in the garage for packing before we moved. Also threw away a painting made by my deceased sister. And lots of other "treasures", gripes my 'a' plenty.
Sounds like a good woman dude! Congratulations! Mine is about as messy as I am, loves to fish, and drives an F150. For our first wedding anniversary I bought her a set of dual exhausts for it. Has a good job too!
