My Introduction

Hi. I am new to this forum..... and I presume I will get bashed for saying this but I only like old Ford automobiles, up to early 1980's. Otherwise, I dunno.

Nonetheless. Just wanted to introduce myself and ask that you not make fun of me when I don't know what something means.

I really like driving stick shift : ) shift... zoom... shift... zoom.. shift... zoom.... shift... zoom...I live in California in a small cowboy town. Most people here are really rich and have nice diesel trucks or rams or ... rich people stuff. Most are while collar workers, so I don't know when they will need to lug horser trailers or anything around. Not that I do. Erm. Yeah.

What I do know. My mom was going to get me a 1955 Chevy. Actually... she did. But then she left my dad and I found out she had been cheating on him and I got ****ed off and didn't want to talk to her so she didn't want to give me the truck.... I suppose in appreication and consolation my dad got me and my sister a 1979 F 150. Well... just got it back, I suppose; he had had it before, sold it to his friend, and got it back. So now my sister and I drive it.

My sister is not much for cars, but I always liked to help my dad with whatever needed to be fixed, so I know some. It has a four speed manual transmission, adapted from the original so it has a ground Hurst shifter. It has a nice suspension, though not really high. It also power aided steering and... that's about it. The guy ho my dad sold it to messed up the bed when he ran into a fence, so though the truck was red, it now has a red cab and gray bed with no rear bumper.... erm, it has some nice rims too.

And a kind of nice audio system. Two amplifiers, two 10 subs, two nice Pioneer speakers [don't know specifically what kind], two tweeters and a 10 disc changer.

That's about all. It doesn't look that nice. Though it's my sister and mine, she doesn't care much for it so I plan to fix it up and claim it when she leave for college. I don't want a super truck, just a nice, good well running one.

And here begin my endeavors... uh. That's about it. A beautiful day to all with yellow flowers.
