89 dies on cold start

I have an 89 Bronco 302/5.0L ... When i start it in the morning it will start then immediately die.. this happens a couple of times.. then it will start then die when i put it in drive.. it eventually will run fine after many starts.. any ideas?

This can usually be traced to a bad idle air control motor.
