Die's after start up
Hello, I have oth a 86' 6.9 and a 89' 7.3,and when they are cold about 3-4 seconds after start up they die and are hard to start back up,if you give them about 1/4-1/2 trottle they will not die.....any help??

Sounds like your cold start enrichment system is not working properly. Pop the hood, have a friend turn the key on and then press the pedal down about 1/4 - 1/3 and release. You should see a small cylinder on the left side( as you are looking at it) of the IP. This cylinder should push out when the pedal is pressed down with the key on and cold start. If it does not do this then that would be a good thing to look at first.
