I have the dreaded exhaust leak. I am going to have to replace my up pipes, donuts, bolts etc. Actually I am chickening out and having it done. But, it was recommended to me to go ahead and buy the pipe going into the turbo also. Does anyone have the part # for this. I looked on Powerstrokeshop.com and am not sure if this is the right part. My truck is a 2000 model. Thanks
That is the correct part number. Had to get one from dealer. Was doing the up pipe job on my vacation day and needed right away. Spoke with Bob at Powerstrokeshop to verify number before calling the dealer for availability. Bob is great about answering questions, even if you don't place an order. I do have an account with them when I don't need something in a hurry. They have good prices on their kit items.
If you want to fix it, fix it right. International makes a pipe kit that has exhaust expansion bellows in the attachment, that includes a new "collector" casting piece. Just picked up my set yesterday, They were $320 but they will never leak again. Uses gaskets instead of a donut to seal. Go to your local IH dealer and ask for part 1837872C93
