BRAKE NOISES-PROBLEMS
Howdy, my 95 bronco is makin noises when I apply the brakes. Sounds like medal on medal noises from the front brakes. I dont think they are working correctly. even when the brake is not engaged the brakes are rubbing anyway. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.

Just a thought:- I've got a 95 Bronco that was making some odd noises when braking (especially when applying the brakes in a turn). After inspecting the brakes I found it to be the four wheel drive gears engaging (slipping in and out). I find that the gears are self lubing but only when engaged...so I engaged on a dirt road for a couple miles each month to keep them lubed and have not heard anymore grinding.

Maybe a simple cleaning and lubing the sliding caliper surfaces. do you know how to do this? usually one can of brake cleaner per wheel. if you don't know how, take it to a shop where you can watch them check the brakes, etc. out; and then get a shop manual (chilton's..etc. and do the brake pad replacement etc your self down the road.
