Hey im in the market for new tires and im looking at the Kumho Road Venture M/T and im curious to see if anyone has these tires and how they are. I also was looking at the toyo open country M/T thanks for any feedback
I just put on a set of 285/75/R16 toyo open country M/Ts this weekend. I feel like I'm driving in a limo now. These tires are AMAZING!!!!!!!! They are sooooooo much quieter than my superswampers. I bought the truck with Bridgeston Duelers on it. The toyos might be a tiny bit louder then the Duelers but they most definately are as smooth if not smother then the Duelers.
I have a set of 35" BFG MT's on eagle alloy wheels for sale pretty soon here. They have about 10000 miles on them. Plenty of tread left. PM me if you are interested.

Almost bought the Kumho's but decided on the Firestone Destinations instead because the original 265's were so good. I'm running 305's now. Do you guys pay attention to the load range you're using or do you not tow heavy loads?
I bought them from National Tire and Wheel. I think I paid 1164 or 1146 for a set of 5, I can't remember which. That included shipping from WV to NJ. I bought my swampers from them too. The shipping will most likely be a little more to TX. They're not one of those huge outfits that couldn't care less about your business. Every time I called customer service they were genuinely interresed in answering my questions. Overall nice people to do business with.
Ive been running the Firestone Destination AT for about 15k now. Iam very pleased with the dry and wet traction. If you do a search on tire rack for tires for your truck. You'll find the Firestone rates pretty desent. Iam not sure about what stock load range was. Someone will chime in about stock load range. I personally went with a load E. I tow ocassionally through the year anything from 5k to 15k. And I just felt better knowing that the tires holding around 7500lbs, would also have no trouble with anything i could throw at them. Hope this helps.
