BFG MT and BFG MT KM2

I had 35x12.50 in the old style and then in august I got the 38x14.50s. I think that they are even quieter than the old style and I have tested them in the mud and snow. They work very well, but since I went up in size I can't really compare as far as performance. I feel like they hook up better all around due to the new design, but comparing 35 to 38 isn't that fair.
They seem to wear really well. I have about 6k on mine so far and I can't even tell that they're wearing. I have barely worn off the little nubbies!
YOu can't go wrong with BFGs. They are as tough as they come and if you're going to run your rig on pavement, they are WAY better and tougher than interco () tires.

Thanks guys. My rig does double duty as my hunting rig and I pull the trailer for the wife and kids. I sleep on the ground, so the tires have to get me in and out of the muck when I'm scouting or hunting, and do once a month trailer pulling to take the wife and kids somewhere.
I'm likely going to get 255/80/17E (33.3x10.2x17). I'm a tall/skinny tire guy I'm just hoping they aren't as loud as the original BFG MT, but even if they are it wouldn't be too bad...as long as they are "decent" offroad as well.

My MT tires were heavy, loud, hard to balance, flat spotted, wore fast, wouldn't self-clean, had poor offroad traction; however, they looked kick *ss and I got a lot of compliments on them. I don't run tires for looks so I sold them after less than 5000 miles to someone that thought they looked kick *ss.

They must put something in the rubber of BFG tires that make the owner go retarded.
I really loved my Dick Cepek FCIIs (owned by MT) on my 04 F250. I got 80k on them and thought they rode really nice. When I needed another set of tires I priced another set of FCs, a set of MT ATZs and a set of Nittos. Unfortunately I went with the cheaper (buy 3 get 1 free special) Nittos and I absolutely hate them. Without having a single thing negative to say about MTs all terrain tires I wish I got them instead....and will next time.
I will never own a BFG AT on ANYTHING. Id rather run Thornbirds.

Being retarded didn't cure the fact my MT tires were heavy, loud, hard to balance, flat spotted, wore fast, wouldn't self-clean, had poor offroad traction; although I got the MTs before the BFGs, so maybe they retarded me. But even more retarded than all of this is the fact the thread is about BFG MTs, pre- and post-KM2 and no one is talking about that anymore.
