Thining about regearing

Hey there,
I have a 90 fullsize bronco with the 351, auto tranny, 3:55 gears, and 31x10.50 tires. I was told that the 4:11 gears where an option. Does anyone out there have a simular setup with the 4:11? What RPM's are you running at highway speeds? Gas milage? Any regrets? Thanks in advance

https://www.ford-trucks.com/articles/gearcalc.html

measure your tires..and plug the numbers in.

you will get less mileage for sure

better acceleration of course.

good luck.

I have an 89 Bronco full size XLT that had 3.55 in the rear and 3.54 in the front. currently my rear is in the shop getting completely rebuilt, putting 4.1 in the rear. I should be getting my rear back next weekend. then I'll be doing my front. So it is too soon to tell. I'll let you know
