Anyone know the part number for that bracket the holds the plastic Powerstroke logo on top of the motor? I put the "Powerstroke" on the nuts and broke the studs...

MAN! The exact same thing happened to me Saturday when I was changing the fuel filter. That sucker is real rusty for some reason. Must be made by a Chevy part supplier or something. Anyways, I just left the cover off for now. Maybe next Saturday, I'll have a chance to fix it....

It attaches. There are at least two, and maybe three bolts/nuts that hold it on. Probably fairly easy to remove with a wrench or two, though. If XylemXorro doesn't need it, I might be interested....

I'm with Kris I got tired of removing it any time I wanted to replace the fuel filter and just left the cover off. been thinking of removing the bracket too cause I had those studs sticking up. doesn't serve any useful purpose that I can see except maybe cosmetic and I never liked the looks of plastic on an engine.

Yea, and that bracket is rusty too. Mine is holding my current bleed valve setup. All of this will change before too long as that bracket will get cleaned up or removed when I modify the bleed fitting.
