I had a low boost issue this weekend so I went looking for leaks, boy did I ever find one. the hot side IC tube had a gaping hole gouged in it on th bottom right under the battery. what could have caused this any Ideas, the hole was about 1/2" long and about 1/4" wide. it looked as if a rock flew up and hit it but WTF how did that happen
It well could have been a rock or some sort of road debris. Those tubes are very thin. If it was a pulley, it would look more like a worn spot. If it was a rock, it should be a hole knocked from the outside in. If you think that may be what it is, make sure the rock or whatever, is not still in the tube.
I didn't take any pics of the hole just had it welded. I'll still try to take some pics though.BTW does anybody know where I can get a set of polished or chrome CAC tubes? I think that would look sweet!
I checked but didn't see anything, the hole looked like it was hit with somthingit was curled in around th edges but it didn't look like anything passed through it.
