Changed Springs and now a problem

Well I changed from DG to UA springs. The front and rears lifted up and I put larger blocks on the rear to change the rake to get factory specs. Anyways, I have just noticed that my left rear is 3/4 in lower than the right. Fronts are about the same. So, do I need to put another block to raise it more? They have 4 in F350 blocks at this time for the rears. TIA

I have seen and heard on this forum the same issue. It seems the drivers side rear seems to be lower giving the rear a cokeyed look to it. I have a slight cockeye to mine but not that bad yet. I have heard of some folks saying an inch. I am not sure why this is but would like to see if someone may know.

Has anyone ever added an additional block to even it out? If so, was it cosmetic or functional?

From what I have read the difference is due mainly to the weight of the spare tire and the steering column.

So we are saying it isn't an issue? Should I see if we can get it up with a block stuck in my rear?

I'm not even gonna touch that last sentence!

Why don't you remove the spare and see if ExcursionDad is correct.

I would have the spring(s) re-arched for that side before sticking another block in there. Blocks are for posers.

Do not use uneven springs/blocks, thats just a bad idea and strikes me as a safety hazard in emergency meneuvers. I say go drive it over some bumps and give it a couple days to settle down, then try to get the suspension to "relax" and make sure its on a level surfcae and measure again. You may have dropped the truck one side at a time and loaded the suspension unevenly or driven over abump or something and it never quite leveled itself out. Id give it a lil time and check it a few more times before you start throwing parts at something that may not be broken.

I think I have driven it for a couple of weeks already. It has 2 loads of 5200 copies of newspaper in it. I measured it with fuel and totally empty. It was so empty today, the idle was rough and I filled in 47.6 gallons into my 44 gal rated tank.

I talked to a spring shop and they said that they could re-arch it or put in some shims that make up the difference.

From left to right, the difference was 1/16 higher on the right side in the FRONT.
From left to right, the difference was 5/8 higher on the right side in the REAR.

Is 5/8 a bad thing to have? I did talk to a couple of spring shops and they seemed to say that either re-arch them or they will add a 2nd block to it. So why is a 2nd block a bad idea? Not challenging you but just want to know.

1 Block is bad enough, 2 is begging for trouble. They can pop out. The more block the more axle wrap also, axle wrap = wheel hop that can screw up all kinds of stuff really bad. I say do airbags if anything.

Plus, axle wrap can ruin your springs.

Took out the spare tire and it hasn't changed anything. Not going to take out the steering column or the transfer case which tends to the left more than the right
