ac wire colors for E-fan hookup

ac wire colors for E-fan hookup
Hi all !
Need to get wire colors for ac clutch wires so I can hookup my e-fan to run with ac on. I found the wire loom from clutch and couldn't get any voltage from wires. Is this from having key on/ac on/ engine off? Does the engine need to run for a relay to put power to ac clucth?
2005 F150 SCAB 5.4.
