What size socket to remove steering wheel?

I unsuccesfully using the search function to no avail....

I recently just bought a steering wheel puller, but I need to know the size of the socket need to remove the large one in the center.

I am replacing the thin "hard" steering wheel on my 86 F-250 w/ the same model year thicker steering wheel.

Thanks for any assistance.

It would be a 24 metric. Just a little more info for you that is the same size that fits the big bolt the holds your damper onto your crank as well. On a 460 anyway.

Got the new wide steering from a 86 or so Ford Van. Replaced that skinny steering wheel that was on my 86 F-250. While I was at it, I replaced the turn singal switch. That was somewhat of a pain, but now my turn signals work w/o having to hold the turn signal arm up or down
