Would be nice if the shifter and linkage comes with it.
I don`t know if it`s for a big block or not without looking up the numbers.

I have some casting number listings for toploaders so I can figure out what it is. Thanks!!
If I remember right, the Mustangs used the short tailshaft version but I believe there is a conversion kit for the long shaft version. I also recall the input shaft size being different for small/big block versioins but my memory (and a few other things) fail me right now as to the details.

The RUG-E3 was from a 69 Mustang/Cougar with 302 or 351 engines.

I never did know which transmission was for the big block/small block, just that there was a difference.
To me it was all under the RUG!

As long as the transmission works and stays under the RUG it`s good enough for me!
