Rare find?
Found this on Craigslist. I have been into Ford trucks since the early eighties and never have seen one of these. I have only heard of them on here.

It is a rare find. They are out there but you don't see them to often. Having the onan still in it is a kool bonus. This particular truck has been for sale for awhile now. Surprised it still ain't gone. Price could be better though.

The contractor special emblem should be on the cowl. I was trying to see it in the photos but didn't see it or any sign of holes on the cowl where the badge used to be. The emblem base plate is used for acouple different models just the metal inlay is different. Didn't know it was only offered for 2 years. But if you look in the onan generator section here's what they say.
(From 1969-1972, Ford offered an underhood 2500-watt electrical generator mainly as an option on the Contractor's Special, though it could be special ordered on any F250-F350. Trucks would come with heavy-duty front springs and required a special inner fenderwell for mounting, and shared the truck's fuel supply.)
So it seems fordification once again has mixed information one article says contractor specials only offered in 69-70 but then they say the onan's are offered in 69-72 contractor specials.

1969 Contractors Special emblems (C9TZ-16720-A) are decals located on R/L cowl panel.
1970 Contractors Special emblems are different (D0TZ-16720-A), also located on the R/L cowl panel.
There are no parts catalog pics of either emblem.
