I watched a glass guy replace mine. I paid the $50 deductible for insurance, what a mistake. He said the glass cost $15. Find an auto glass place and I bet you won't pay more than $20 for the glass. Remove the door panel, unbolt the frame arm and slide the new one in.
there is no need to remove anything but the old broken glass, and the black glue casket that holds it in. once the channel is clear and clean, you put the new gasket in the frame, and press the glass in place. then close the window, and leave it closed for a few days to let the glue set.
OK thanks everyone. Guess a junkyard or an auto glass place is the best place to get it afterall. Just checking to see wheres the lowest price he could get it at.
If you can't find a glass window (unlikely, I know), you could also try to make one from Plexiglas. My dad replaced a vent window this way once and it worked very well. I can't quote ya the price of a piece of Plexiglas off the top of my head, but knowing Dad, it had to have been pretty cheap.
