Looking for a recommendation on a trailer 24'-28' that can stack two race cars. I know there are a few manufacturers out there and it can be a regional purchase But any advice would be great.
Pros and Cons, 5th wheel vs, hitch tow, etc.
I'm just starting my research on the matter and would like some direction.
I have a 28 foot Classic Dominator, but that is a one car hauler. Not a stacker, but the workmanship and quality are great. (Plus, they have a contingency $$$ program for racers.)
If I were buying a stacker it would be only because I was pulling it behind a large motor home. I would personally go with a gooseneck with a 36ft box, if length was not a problem. I agree with <ST1Redford </ST1that the Classic Dominator is a quality trailer and I think they make a stacker. Pace is another and I know they make a stacker. As you can see below I have a Featherlite gooseneck and it pulls like a dream. I had my car loaded up last weekend pulling at 70 mph in a 20 mph cross wind and barely noticed it. I am not sure I would be saying the same thing about any stacker.
If you can afford it go with a lift gate instead of a stinger lift. Its like daylight and dark, plus your not worrying about banging your head everytime you walk in or out. All the shop room with the lift gate is amazing. SandS, Renagade, and Wildside or 5150 whatever their name is now are all good trailers. Check out racingjunk.com there are all kinds there.
