No way that heap makes 1400hp. Only 3 pulls on the motor?, it looks like someone drove it into a pond?. TFS heads are indeed aluminum, and the last time I looked, they don't rust. The Bigfoot Monster Truck makes 1200 - 1500hp with a blown, alchohol injected, 572ci big block Ford?
pulling truck ? what do you pull with snow tires? no weight box on the front. 3 pulls? rusted up headers.built by an owner of summitt. summitt what bug exterminating co. sounds like he's on something. bid is up to over $2,000 people will believe anything i guess.did it not say it did not run?
Ok is it just me or does this thing have dual wheel front hubs? by lookin at the pic of the caliper and of the front wheel looks to have dually hubs. Ok 3 pulls? Maybe 3 pulls to get the mower under it started. Jeez this thing looks like it was built in 77 then left in a field. Ugh people will buy anything.

It doesn't run, so feel free to tow that 1400 HP powerhouse home...
I smell bulls***, and I hate that smell.
That motor does look like it's been pooped on a couple of times. A nice coating of bull to come with your $15K reserve.

The heads may be aluminum. It looks as if that rust is just a stain from the head bolts.
Maybe if you add up the advertiser's claimed HP increase for each performance part it would equal 1400...
You know, +25HP +10 +40 +30 +20 +50 +25% +15% +30% +10% +20% =1200HP...
Add another 25HP for each piece of writing on the side like ricer stickers... =1400HP!!!!

You are giving them too much credit on the heads, looking at the rest of the engine I doubt they would have spent the 1200 on a set of Edelbrock heads, much less a set of tfs heads. For goodness sake they didn't even put on an aluminum water pump. And we all know that the factory radiator won't support 1000 HP much less 1400HP. If he had said about 700 HP then I MIGHT believe it, if it didn't look like it was built 15 years ago.

Where the paint is chipped off the heads there is no rust... I did not say his HP claims were true, quite the contrary.

I didn't look at the heads that close, but I do doubt that they are alum, but I have been wrong before. I never said that you said the HP claims were true, I was agreeing with you that they were bogus.
I have a magnify function set up on my PC. On the front of the heads you can see places the crap paint job is peeling or chipped and there is no rust. The rust starts again down on the block, and the water pump, and the....
I might give the guy $150 for the truck, but I would have to inspect it first.
