Torqueshift Fluid, Where?
My owner's manual says I must use "Mercon SP" ONLY. Not to mix with any other types, even mercon V.
When I tried to buy some, nobody seems to carry it. I tried all the auto parts stores and none of them even heard of it.
I guess I have to go to Ford to buy 17.5qts.
Where do you guys get your Mercon SP?

Beware of one online place that sells Mercon SP cheaper but they zing you badly on shipping charges.
Make sure you get one or two of the 'toilet roll' external trans fluid filters. These get very dirty and are super easy to change.

I have not ordered any yet from these guys so this may be the place that "zings" you for shipping. My local Ford dealership sells it for $4.50 per quart which is pretty good for small orders.
If you put a big order in at dieselfiltersonline, you can get GREAT prices. You can get free shipping for $150 order and then 5% off for a $250 order. This is hard to beat if you have filters to buy AND if you have friends that want to go in with you on a large order. They sell Mercon SP for $4.95/qt.

I just checked the shipping at k-mansparts.com. IT IS WAY TOO MUCH SHIPPING COST! For 10 quarts, the shipping is an extra $1.60 (or so) per quart. Go w/ a $150 order from dieselfiltersonline and get free shipping unless a local dealer has a great price - sometimes they will give some discounts to good customers if you ask.

I ended my fruitless frustrating search after recieveing 2 cases of MERCON V through the internet sales scheme not once but twice! I ended up at Ford parts counter w/ 24 quarts for $128.00 they had them in stock and I was able to buy a really cool PSD hat while I was there the $128.00 included both filters & the hat! anyone need 4 cases of Mercon V ?
