Cab take off procedure...

Cab take off procedure...

Do anyone know the steps to make this less of a pain?

I have a 2006 f-350 psd6.0.

IMO - any way you attack it, you're looking at a major PITA.

Lifted a head... need to access the thing to work on it...

Any other way to get some good space to work around the motor because the underhood looks so cramped... Only removing/installing up pipes last summer was pita... I can't imagine removing heads then...

May want to ask this down in the 6.0 section as Volony or BTH can give you some pointers.

Yea, I did notice the engines are far back against the firewall - like a big van. Might be easier to just remove the motor instead of the cab.

Ford procedure calls for removing the cab on the 6.0L trucks to replace the head gaskets. Like Blackhat said I am sure BTH and some of the other techs can help him out.
