need help on a tranny install
I have a 1989 ford f250 460 with a zf 5 speed tranny that went bad. I have found another ZF 5 speed tranny out of a 1990 ford f250 351m. I need to know if this tranny will fit the 1989 460? Will this tranny bolt up to the 460?
Any help wpuld be greatly appreciated. I am knew to this site also, but it looks like there is a ton of knowledge to gain by using it.

There is a lot of information here and most if it is only a click away. Just click on the Forums tab at the upper left and scroll over the list. There is a forum for your engine and another that deals with transmissions. You can try them both or even try the forum that has your year of truck.
