c-6 tranny
I need help from someone who knows about c-6's. I have a 63 Ford falcon econoline window van, and I am putting a 460 BB in the rear instead of in between the seats. I already have everything I need, or at least I thought. My C-6 autom. tranny has the long 17 1/2" tailshaft. I would like a shorter one. I realize they one that is 13 1/2" but that still is longer than what I need. Question is....is there a shorter tailshaft that I can get to use on a 2wd automatic. If so where to find one. I have seen one that was on a c-6 that was about 8 1/2" but I dont know where it came from, and I didnt jump on it when I had the chance.
