Surface rust...

What's the best way to get rid of this? My Bronco is in good shape, but just has alot of surface rust..

Surface rust...

the best way i have seen is to find a shop that will blast it off using walnut shells or a similar abrasive. this removes rust, but does not harden the metal surface.
i have also wet sanded several vehicles to get rid of surface rust. but, you have to be careful, and prime with a sealer/primer right away to prevent problems.
