I have noticed that many police departments use Broncos. Did Ford ever produce "police interceptor" Broncos? I was just curious of anyone has ever heard of/seen one.

many police do use broncos, esp in Philly and PA, etc.
Never saw any special police editions, ala the crown vic, and older chevvies.
however the military did have a Commercial Utility Cargo Vehicle (CUCV)type, mostly blazers/pu's that were based on using commercially available systems and parts concept to reduce development and maint. costs and time.
Recently the Army, steel ind and ford started an "Improved Materials and Powertrain Architectures for Trucks" project that is supposed to develop new truck technologies for tactical military trucks "dual use" (same as CUCV almost, but with the newer slang, ya know?)

BTW, i bought a mil/police Setina push bar for my 96 bronco...it works great as a push bar and is more functional than the more expensive tube stuff on the market.

I know a guy that bought 3 88 border patrol broncos he claimed he got them chaep and that they had more power than a normal 302 bronco but i cant say since i never drove one

Sorry partner, no such thing as a 2 wheel drive bronco, now if your talking about a BroncoII that's a different story, it's also not really a Bronco, much like a MustangII is no Mustang
Not trying to flame, just keep the breading lines clear.
1978-96 Bronco, NO 2 wheel drive ever came off the production line
Bronco II's Never should have come off the production line
