Driver side mirror replacement
Is it difficult to replace said reflecting unit? It is powered but not heated.
Thanks all.

The toughest part of the job, after cleaning the duct tape residue off the door was re attaching that plastic triangle piece to the inside of the door.
Remove screws in arm rest, on trailing edge of door(facing rear), behind cover in door handle housing, and behind pop out trim piece on front edge of door. That screw holds the bottom of the triangle trim piece.
Then push up on triangle to remove.
This will expose 4 screws that hold on the mirror. Remove them.
The mirror will now be loose.
I used a putty knife to help around the edges of the door panel to pop the panel off of the friction fit connectors.
Remove the cup behind the door handle.
Lift up on the door panel It will come right off.
The panel is connected by your power window wires so don't let it fall. I just hooked the panel on the door handle.
Use a razor to slice the gunk holding the plastic water barrier to give you access to the electrical connection if you have a power mirror. My is mirror is power but not heated but I can't imagine the connector is different.
Carefully disconnect the plug. The mirror is now free.
Fit new mirror with holes and supplied weather strip.
Reattach without over tightening.
And reverse obove steps to finish.
Not that difficult.
