ok here whats up i have the 3 pillar gauges and the lights in them were red and i changed them to blue to match my cd player. When my gauges were red i had a gauge that was brighter than the other and after switchin the bulbs the same thing happen again but with a different gauges. My ? is it possible that i put the bulb in wrong or what. Does anyone know
It could be a different bulb. They should all be the 194 type. With such a small bulb, I imagine that there could be some variance in brightness levels. Also, make sure that the other two bulb sockets are in the back of the gauge completely.
I'd put money on it being the imperfections in the bulb condom. I'm going to go on a limb and say you have the autometers? I have 3 vehicles with autometer guages and EVERY TIME, I have one bulb color condom that is a slightly different shade of green then the others. Swap the bulb condoms to see if that does it.
