Max AC v. ac
Does any one know if there is a in-cabin air filter in our trucks or something? when i turn my ac to MAX it actually blows slower, my assumption is that it turns on a re-circulate but in my old taurus, max woudl allways blow harder than the AC setting
any one have any ideas?

it should blow harder in max, maybe one of the flaps for recirculating air is not opening?
i think its on a passenger side footwell, just turn the key and you should hear vacum opening and closing a flap, maybe vacum line poped off?

There are no cabin air filters in these trucks. You are right in your assumption. Max - means that you are recirculating the air in the cabin. The normal A/C position is getting air from the outside. Depending on your fan speed if you are traveling down the road say at 55mph and switch from Max to Norm then yes the air velocity might increase. Perhaps you have something blocking the grate where the air is pulled back in when on recirculate? I've had customers come in complaining of the same thing and there was a Walmart bag, big receipt, or napkin sucked up in there. Might take a look.
