OK got another question, Is there enough clearence to drop the pan far enough to change the pan gasket while the motor is still in the truck or are we talking a major undertaking?
Take top intake off .remove motor mount nuts jack motor up till touch gas lines drop pan clean up reinstall (get the good gaskets). You can drop oil pump and exhaust if you need to remove completely .
^ don't need to do any of that to just replace the gasket.
As quicklook said, there's a lot of information on the procedure out there. I know I've posted a pretty detailed procedure a while back. You're looking at right around 2 hours to complete the gasket replacement. Make sure to use a one piece rubber gasket, OEM if possible.
