I'm with KennedyFord on this one. I used a short self tapping SS screw and anchored the whole assembly using just one screw mounted out of sight around the corner below the sun visor hinge. I pre-drilled the guage pod first and then ran the screw into the factory A-piller trim.
Will the double sided tape fail when it gets hot during the summer ?
I second the 3M tape. Some of their stuff is incredible. Their VBH line of foam-double stick tape is used to build entire semi and horse trailer bodies with no mechanical fateners. I used the 3M tape to re-skin a 52' Wilken's walking-floor semi trailer last summer. After a year of being used off-road in logging and the trailer taking a lot of twisting forces, not a single joint has moved or failed.
I tried the 3-m tape and fell off in a week after it got hot, then drlled 4 holes n the pod and pot srews in
the back screws go i easy by hand ,think I used a 1\4 in rathet with a phillips bit
I went to home depot and i use there 3M double sided outdoor/indoor tape. My instrument cluster bezel came with some 3M 2 way tape, but it was no good, so i peeled it off and used the outdoor/indoor tape done. That sucker hasnt moved since. My A pillar pod is mounted with one push pin in the top, its mounted to the original Apillar trim.
Now that I know that the gauge pod goes over the stock one I think its all down hill from here . My directions were not very clear but with the tips I'm good to go . Thanks alot

Apparantly you don't have instructions for your pod. Have a look here clicky, and decide how you want to go about it.
