ride height

Anybody know what the standard ride height should be on a 99 F250 LWB extra cab. I am having air bag problems and need to know if my rear leaf springs are shot. The air bags are the Ride Rites from Firestone. I have a Reese fifth wheel hitch and the problem is they bottom out unless I keep 20 psi or more in them, and that is unloaded. I don't think they are supposed to do that...I can't find anything on ride heights. Thanks

No it shouldn't bottom out unloaded unless your jumping dunes. I haven't seen a spec book, but the front should be 1-2" lower than the rear unloaded. The bottom of the rear bumper should be around 18" from the ground. These aren't exact numbers, but it should get you close.
