On my 2008, the Navigation system ask for you to agree to the terms on the screen each time it is powered up. Does anyone know who to get rid of the screen? It is a pain to respond everytime....

My garmin Nuvi does the same thing.
I know it is anoying but not much you can do.
That is their legal out in case you crash while trying to change the GPS.
They can say "not our fault. He agreed not to do it".
You cannot bypass the agreement... by doing that you would make the GPS manufacturer somehow liable if you had an accident due to staring at the screen. They cannot allow this, so they make you agree each time you use it because one time just ain't enough!
My Garmin 276 does it too .. but if I don't touch anything after about 5 seconds it just finds satellites and it's working .. have you tried just doing nothing and see if it goes away on it's own ?
there is no way to disable that screen. it is their disclaimer. read it one day. hey don, i have the nuvi also, how do you like it. you have yours mounted?
I realize what it is for but pain to have to agree everytime you get out and in. I don't think the Pioneer one installed at the factory will go away. I know i have waited 5 minutes thinking it would go off. It is a touch screen. I have been using CoPilot for about 3 years on my laptop and got used to not having it I guess.
thanks

I like the nuvi.. The only problem I have found is if you are looking for an address with the same name it may send you to the other location. This is probably true for most GPS.
I chose it because it is small and easy to put in your pocket..
This way I can keep it hidden from Prying eyes and hands..
I don't have it permanently mounted.. I just have it stuck to the window for now. I have a flexible mount for my Fisher plow control and I will be adding a plate to it for the Nuvi.
Well after all this I just threw mine up on the way home today and guess what? Nothing just turned on and started tracking, no agree ment screen...weird...mine is mounted on the dash above the radio so it can swivel back and forth between me and the wife...not sure if thats a good idea...but it sure beats maps.
I just picked up a 08 250 PS yeasterday... What a sweet truck, but I do agree that the NAV system disclaimer screen is an unnecessary pain in the butt. I am on the hunt for the hack... Surely someone will figure this out
