alright i have decided to sell the truck that i posted about earlier in april. in loo for a 2wd 3/4 or 1 ton. my problem is that i dont see enough of these trucks for sale and have no idea what i should even think about pricing this truck at. to the mods, im not trying to sell the truck on here as i already have offers but i am asking what a good price for the truck would be. thanks.
heres the description
it has rusted through right above the drivers side front door and the passenger side, other than that there is no other major rust on the cab itself. the bed of the truck has some spots also were it has rusted through. the driver side front fender has some damage to it, and would require a new fender. all of the doors on the truck are in good shape, and other than the driver side fender the cab looks pretty good. i just recently aquired this pickup so i dont know every little thing about it, but it was last inspected in 2000 and then was put on a deerlease. it has two fuel tanks currently with a manual switch to switch between them. the interior is decent, the front seat is not original, it looks to be out of a later model truck but the install is clean. it has power steering, and power brakes. and like said before it is a 3/4 ton 4x4. the drivetrain appears to be in good shape. the frame has some surface rust on it but nothing major. it has the big leaf packs in the rear, with overloads. the motor i have not tried to fire as i do not have an ignition, but from checking the oil dipstick there is good clean oil, and no rust on it. the tranny looks good with good fluid, and the radiator is still full of water. in my opinion all i would need to fire the truck up would be plugs, and an ignition(key and tumbler)
Prices vary by region and greatly by condition. We can neither really see your truck, hear it, evaluate it or anything. We really can not help you. All we can do is throw a bunch of BS numbers at you. Check the Read First:FAQ thread at the top of the 73-9 forum for truck pricing info.
Need some pics and sounds of the engine. This plays a Big role. Talk to some of your friends also ask how much they would pay for it and then boost the price a little maybe by 300 bucks or so.
