quick intake question

Hmmm...I never knew this. Wish I had known BEFORE I swapped the 302 in 
I have a stock 1969 351W and didn't know if the intake from that would fit the 302. If all I have to do is swap the heads....now you have my brain storming. lol thanks....

You can swap the 351 heads to the 302, but you still aren't going to be able to make the 351 manifold fit on the 302.

Thank you guys for clearing this up for me. Yes, I know better now. I didn't know if it was possible or not (didn't think so) so I figured I'd be safe and ask. I still haven't decided if I'm just going to find a 4v intake for the 302 or rebuild the 351W and drop that in. It's just a work/play truck I drive. Again, thanks for all your help!

I would suggest you rebuild the 351 (as will everyone else, really). It'll have more torque and if you plan on doing any modifications, you'll get more power for cheaper out of the 351.

I apologize for the misinformation.....but wouldn't you still be able toswap out the heads just have to use the sameintake?I shoulda thunk that....guessI didn't analyze my own post very well...especially when I even said sumthing about deck heighths.....whoops.
