AVIC-D3/with MX nav traffic

Good afternoon all,
I have an '04 SD, I purchased an AVIC-D3 and MX radio with nav traffic. I was wondering where to mount the MX antena to get the best reception and not be too obtrusive to the looks of the truck. Thanks for your advise.

ok 1st off, it is XM, and you CAN mount the XM antenna inside like on your dash, but you REALLY should mount it outside ont he roof

I have AVICs with Nav traffic on 2 trucks. I have all 3 antennas (sirius, xm, gps) on the dash near the windshield. Works fine with no problems.

I just installed an AVIC-D3 and mounted the gps antenna under the cowling below the passenger side wiper, it's easy to remove the cowling and there is alot of room under it.
This keeps it totally hidden and is also outside of the cab for good reception.
