Anybody ever thought about tryin to make an old detroit style setup work on a PSD? I think that would be bad **** to have a supercharged turbo diesel. Any thoughts?
They used superchargers on Detroit engines because of the intake being at the bottom of the cylinder, forced induction. They even had turbos along with the superchargers.
Well I dont wanna be mainstream. I wanna be the first to make big power with a Supercharged turbo diesel. Not only would it be one off bu8t it would be bad ***!
my dad's friend used to have an OLD ford diesel, i have no idea what year and neither does he haha it was one of the first and he supercharged it!! kid had LOTS of money and LOTS of time!!!! my dad said he was runnin low 12's in the 1/4 while my dad's f250 could only pull high 12's low 13's
Hmmm, thanks for the info. I talked to Tj and we decided that a compound turbo setup would be the best way to go. The time and money I would have to spend on a supercharger kit i could have a darn sweet twin turbo kit.
