Pre turbo normal for just cruisin around 75 on the interstate I would see around 750-800, but then again I see a few hills and just in general terrain plays a part. As to max temp., I think most would say 1250, but that also depends on what type of exhause you have as well, aluminized exhausts you have to worry about heat scolding after 1250, while the others can tolerate higher temps, but all around 1250, rather it's for turbo/engine safety or maintain exhaust intregrity. I don't know about differential, I don't have that gauge. I do have a water temp gauge and I usually see around 200, I think 200-205 is roughly the normal, round 230 your pushing it(anyone want to chime in on that one?), I think that oil is going to be close to that, might be a little hotter, but it should be round there.
