EVAP System Troubles
You need to do some vacuum testing on it & see if it's leaking. The system is very sensitive to vacuum leaks & flow of fumes from the fuel tank & charcoal canister, so if any vacuum leaks are present, or if any debris from the old dry rotted hoses, or vacuum lines you replaced, have restricted flow up toward the intake manafold, it'll upset the computer & it'll reset the CEL.

Also check this forums "Tech Info" thread. located atop this forums thread listing page & scroll down to the "Evap Sys" link, for some more light reading.
If you don't have either of the following, you may be able to make loan of a multimeter & vacuum tester, from your favorte autoparts stores "Loan-A-Tool" program, to do some Evap system testing.
Your local autoparts store should have some repair manuals or repair CD's & maybe even your local library.
I checked out my library first, to see which repair manuals format met most of my needs for repair detail, before I bought one. Helms Ford manuals are good, but expensive. CD's on EBay are said to be a good investment, but you need a computer handy to access the info, not as convienent as a book when your working on something. I opted for a Haynes manual, it's not all inclusive, but has so far met most of my needs.
If your into detailed overhall & repair, you'll likely want a shop manual or CD, for it's detail.
Did you clean up & plug in the ABS connector????? Did/Do you have a ABS system trouble light lit?????
Just some things for consideration. Keep us posted on your trouble shooting progress.
