Cyl head ID ?

I'm looking at a cyl head on ebay, casting number is C8AE. Seller says it has kidney shaped combustion chambers, and 3/8" studs.

My question is, does this sound like a 240 head? Seller says it's a 300.

It could be anything, looking at part of the stamping number there it looks like it came out of a 1968. You would need the rest of the stamping number to determine the correct application. It should look like C8AE 6049 ? or C8AE 6051 ? or C8AE ?, at the least it should have one more letter so to determine the correct application. I hope this helps.
